We are loving the baked oysters fixed with all kinds of interesting toppings --- cheeses, spinach, scallops, shrimp. Mmmmm... Had a fun day in Apalachicola, a tiny historic town that is struggling to create a destination for tourists. Great shops and restaurants but, sadly for them, hardly any tourists. We boondocked overnight in their large city parking lot and had NO company at all. We love finding an out-of-the-mainstream spot like this.
Uh...oh --- jellyfish. But gorgeous beach. This is Mexico Beach - nicely un-crowded.

Mississippi - our first look at these gorgeous white sand beaches. Here near Biloxi, a lot of the sand had blown onto the highway.Alabama - we stayed 3 nights at this nice state park on the bay at Gulf Shores. One of the campground rules: Do not molest the alligators! But we didn't see any - still too cool and not sunny enough for them yet. Good little relaxing break.
