Highlights of NW Arkansas

Gregg's high school classmate Ron and his wife Sonja have a beautiful place on Loc Lomond in Bella Vista, Arkansas.  We loved spending a night in their cul de sac, getting the boat tour, and having a fantastic dinner at their house.  It was Mother's Day and we heard from all our kids so we were all happy campers that night.

Ron & Sonja and others had told us to not miss the beautiful new Art Museum in Bentonville and they were right.  It was fascinating, beautiful architecture, nice restaurant, hiking trails and interesting art, inside and out.

The leafless tree is all metal art - look for the object in the upper branches.

Bentonville - home of Walmart.  My award for best Sam's Club deli - upgraded seating and fresh flowers!
Then we were off to Rogers, Arkansas, home of our friend Terri Brown.  She too lives on a lake, huge Beaver Lake, and took us out for a lake tour.
I was in heaven, needless to say...
We had 3 nights of great dinners on the deck with Terri's friend RJ, watching the sun set...
...and a fun day in Eureka Springs, trolley ride around town, a little shopping and a little stopping for beers and wine.
