We randomly picked out a Corps of Engineers campground in eastern Oklahoma to stay for a few days.

bible clearly shows a lot of lakes in eastern Oklahoma that we had been longing to check out. We ended up near Cookson, OK at Snake Creek campground on Tenkiller Ferry Lake and loved it - even had a fish cleaning station at each campsite! Not that we ever catch anything & have even stopped trying...

We drove around the area, checking out other campgrounds, and they are all beautiful, right on the lakes. Very peaceful.
Found Big Daddy's all-you-can-eat catfish restaurant nearby.
