Memphis, TN

We had a really fun day with my cousins Linda and Cheryl in Memphis.  They love their town and love showing guests around.  Lunch was a real treat at Corky's fabulous Bar B Q.
Then it was on to a tour of Sun Studios where Sam Phillips recorded and Elvis Presley got his start in the 1950's.
I got to hold the mic that Elvis held and stand in the spot he stood when he recorded "That's all right, Mama" in 1954.  Fascinating tour.
Our tour guide - Honky Tonk Angel. She was great!

Million Dollar Quartet - Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, Elvis and Johnny Cash recording at Sun in 1956
Random pictures from our trolley tour - fascinating!
Looked like a riot!  But it was high school graduation night...those are the trolley tracks they are all standing on.

Very interesting town...Memphis.  Lots to go back to see another time...
